To enlighten and spark the interest of our audience in a variety of categories without the need to read through paragraphs of boring and unimportant rhetoric. By publishing reliable and interesting lists on a daily basis, we hope to help our audience learn something new every day or even discover a hidden passion.
The Problem
In today’s modern society, the human race has learned an outstanding amount of knowledge about the planet and has used that intelligence to create, invent, and discover fascinating ways to change the world. We have also been able to innovate and engineer products and services that allow us to record, distribute, share, publish, and even collaborate on all of this knowledge, information, and data. However, there has always been one major problem with the model of databases and mediums that contain this wealth of wisdom, the content is written, organized, and produced in the forms of paragraphs upon paragraphs of lengthy sentences.
Learning and discovering subjects of interests have become a chore due to the fact that most content published is directed at those who are educated, informed, and skilled in the respective area of interest. Littered with background history, unimportant facts and figures, bias and opinion, the once fascinating and stimulating stories and revelations of life have lost their ability to spark the interest and curiosity of the audience. Like firewood without flint, these sources of education have trouble welcoming and drawing the attention of the average person.
The Solution
Our business is a website that offers a service of writing and publishing lists that draws from multiple, reliable sources to captivate the reader, as well as offering the reader the chance to learn something new or even shed light on a topic of interest that was never realized. By utilizing a format that includes a list of items, each with a picture or video and a short paragraph or two of only important, interesting, and educational information, we hope to help educate and inspire our audience to recognize or rediscover the passion and love for enlightenment.
These lists, which will be written in a way to be accessible and understandable to almost anyone, will appeal to an audience who is interested in a certain topic or who just wants to learn something new. Our audience will also be those who have short attention spans, don’t have time to read for more than a couple minutes, or simply just want answers or knowledge fast. Today, lists are everywhere. On ESPN, covers of magazines, and even historical documents such as the Bill of Rights. By taking the knowledge of the world and converting it into lists, our audience will learn about all subjects of life in a simple and organized manner.
